Principal protection
Single-agent through full-detail close-protection coverage for the principal — daily routine, public engagements, sensitive movements. Sized to the actual exposure, never to a template.
Principal protection, residential security, secure transportation, and travel coordination — delivered through a single point of contact, in the tone the family office is already accustomed to.
A private family office runs a quiet operation. Investments, properties, philanthropy, education, household, travel — all coordinated by a small, trusted team in the principal's tone. When that team needs protective services, the wrong vendor introduces friction the office has worked years to remove.
DAW exists to be the right vendor in that context. We integrate with the family office the way the family office itself operates — discreet, documented when it should be, invisible when it shouldn't, and never the loudest voice in the room.
Our work is not introduced to the principal as security. It is introduced as an extension of the office.
Each capability stands alone or integrates into a single program. Most engagements begin with one or two and expand naturally.
Single-agent through full-detail close-protection coverage for the principal — daily routine, public engagements, sensitive movements. Sized to the actual exposure, never to a template.
Recurring protection for spouses, children, and household routines — school transitions, after-school activity, weekend movement. Coordinated with the household and school directly.
Estate-based coverage paired with existing household, technology, and grounds infrastructure. Posted, rotational, or event-only — armed where appropriate, unarmed where preferred.
Vetted vehicles and trained drivers for daily principal use, family movements, and special engagements. Integrated with protective coverage where the engagement warrants it.
Domestic and international trip planning — advance work, hotel and venue assessment, in-country coordination, and on-the-ground oversight. Single trip or full-program.
Discreet support for medical appointments, legal proceedings, family transitions, and other moments where presence is required and visibility is not. Documented only where the office requires it for record.
The family office is the relationship. The principal's relationship with the office is sacred. We work behind that line, not across it.
The Chief of Staff, head of security, or designated office principal speaks with one person at DAW. Always. No account-management hand-offs, no junior intake.
We write, brief, and report in whatever tone the office prefers. If the principal expects a one-line confirmation, that is what they receive.
Trip reports, after-action records, and compliance documentation produced when counsel or insurance requires them — and quietly retained when they do not.
We do not advertise our clients. We do not request testimonials. We will decline a public reference even when offered. The work is the reference.
Many of our family office relationships begin through an introduction — from outside counsel, an insurance broker, a private banker, or a principal-level risk advisor. We treat those introductions with the same discretion the introducing party has built with their client.
We do not retain referred parties as our own contact, do not market to them outside the engagement, and do not approach them through any other channel. The introduction is the introduction. The relationship that follows is built — quietly — on the work.
Advisors who would like to keep DAW available as a referral resource for their clients are welcome to reach us directly. We are deliberately small about how many such relationships we maintain.
Every inquiry — whether direct from a family office or via counsel — is reviewed by a principal of the firm.
