Executive Protection in New Mexico.

Discreet protective coverage, secure transportation, and security driver services across Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and Taos — for the principals, collectors, and production teams whose lives or work touch ground in New Mexico.

New Mexico Coverage

A market built on quiet wealth.

New Mexico's protection economy looks like nothing else in the Southwest. Santa Fe attracts a specific kind of principal — art collectors, philanthropic families, retired financial principals, and second-home owners drawn by the privacy that wealth here still affords. The work is older-money, lower-profile, and conducted on the assumption that nothing visible will leave the property.

Albuquerque carries a different register. The state's film production economy — Netflix, NBCUniversal, and the streaming ecosystem built around them — has produced sustained demand for inbound protective work on principals visiting production. Los Alamos and the national lab corridor produce a third, related register: visiting executives whose travel itinerary is, by necessity, not publicly traceable.

DAW holds New Mexico RLD licensure (PI-2025-0809) directly to support all three. Coverage extends from the Santa Fe residential corridor through Taos, into the Albuquerque metro and Sunport, and north toward the Los Alamos region as engagements require.

New Mexico Engagements

The work we do here.

Representative engagement patterns — illustrative only, never describing identifiable clients.

/ Family Office

Santa Fe — summer residence

Residential and personal protective coverage for a family in residence at a Santa Fe compound during the summer season. Coordinated with property staff and household management. Off-property movements (galleries, the opera, restaurants) covered by paired secure transportation and a discreet single-agent posture.

/ Art & Culture

Gallery acquisition movement

Discreet protective coverage for a collector principal during a multi-day Santa Fe gallery and studio visit. Secure transportation between properties, advance work on gallery arrival and departure, and coordination with the principal's art advisor — the engagement entirely invisible to onlookers.

/ Production

Albuquerque — visiting principal

Inbound protective coverage for a studio executive visiting production in Albuquerque. ABQ Sunport private aviation arrival, secure transportation to the production location, on-set protective presence coordinated with the production's own security, and outbound departure.

/ Travel

Los Alamos — corporate executive

Protective transportation for a visiting energy or technology executive with meetings in the Los Alamos region. Sunport arrival, secure transit through the northern corridor, on-site coordination, and reciprocal departure — handled by agents familiar with the route's specifics.

/ Estate

Multi-property family — compound coverage

Standing residential security program for a family maintaining a Santa Fe primary and a ranch property north of Taos. Property staff coordination, perimeter patrol where the property permits, and family-member protective coverage on travel between properties and onward.

/ Event

Santa Fe Opera — recurring season

Annual season-pattern coverage for principals attending Santa Fe Opera performances. Hotel arrival, secure transportation to and from the venue, coordinated with the principal's social calendar and Opera operations. Returning patrons see the same DAW operations contact each season.

New Mexico Licensing

A licensed New Mexico operator — under our own name.

In New Mexico, private investigations and protective services are regulated by the Regulation and Licensing Department (RLD). DAW Security holds an active license — RLD PI-2025-0809 — under that authority.

The license is held by us directly. It is not subcontracted from a partner agency, not white-labeled, and not produced on request from a registry. When a family office, attorney, or production representative verifies the license, they are verifying our license, attached to our agents, on our payroll.

New Mexico engagements are conducted with an explicit assumption of discretion — the kind of work that is the norm for principals who came to the state in part because of how little of it ever shows up publicly.

New Mexico Questions

Answers specific to New Mexico.

Do you support art-collecting principals on gallery and studio visits?

Yes — it is one of the most common Santa Fe engagement patterns. Protective coverage on gallery visits, studio appointments, and art-fair attendance is handled with the same discretion as residential work; agents are briefed on art-handling and acquisition discretion before deployment. Coordination with the principal's art advisor or family office is standard.

Do you work with film and streaming productions in Albuquerque?

Yes. Production-related protective work — visiting executives, talent at high public-recognition phases, and inbound corporate stakeholders — is one of the active engagement patterns in the Albuquerque metro. Coordination with the production's own security and the studio's risk team is standard.

Are armed agents permitted in New Mexico?

Yes, where licensed and authorized. New Mexico permits armed protective service where the agent holds the required state authorization, the engagement is run by a licensed agency, and the principal has authorized armed posture in writing. Most New Mexico engagements proceed unarmed; armed posture is determined by threat profile, never by default.

Can you coordinate with Santa Fe Regional Airport and ABQ Sunport for private aviation arrivals?

Yes. Private aviation arrivals at Santa Fe Regional (SAF) and Albuquerque Sunport (ABQ) are routine, including FBO coordination, protective meet-and-greet, and secure ground transportation to residence or venue. Departures handled in reverse.
