New Mexico's protection economy looks like nothing else in the Southwest. Santa Fe attracts a specific kind of principal — art collectors, philanthropic families, retired financial principals, and second-home owners drawn by the privacy that wealth here still affords. The work is older-money, lower-profile, and conducted on the assumption that nothing visible will leave the property.
Albuquerque carries a different register. The state's film production economy — Netflix, NBCUniversal, and the streaming ecosystem built around them — has produced sustained demand for inbound protective work on principals visiting production. Los Alamos and the national lab corridor produce a third, related register: visiting executives whose travel itinerary is, by necessity, not publicly traceable.
DAW holds New Mexico RLD licensure (PI-2025-0809) directly to support all three. Coverage extends from the Santa Fe residential corridor through Taos, into the Albuquerque metro and Sunport, and north toward the Los Alamos region as engagements require.
